LIS Links Ambassador to States of India
LIS Links invites self-nomination for the LIS Links Ambassador to respective states of India.
Eligibility:
a) The nominator/nominee should be paid members of LIS Links. If he/she is not a paid member, they can get the paid membership at: https://admin.lislinks.com/members
b) As of the date of nomination, s/he should be the a office bearer (president / working president / vice-president / general secretary / secretary / treasurer, etc) of a state or national-level working library association in India.
c) As of the date of nomination, s/he should be a working professional in a permanent or contractual post in the particular state of India for which he/she applied.
Criteria for Selection: The selection will be done based on his or her existing contribution to the LIS Links website.

Last Date of Nomination: 30/12/2023
Tenure: The tenure of the LIS Links Ambassador to respective states will be one year, from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
Responsibilities
a) S/he will represent LIS Links at the respective state level for which he/she is selected.
Benefits
a) All the benefits offered to LIS Links Paid Members;
b) All the benefits offered to LIS Links Social Manager to States of India;
c) S/he can send an email regarding LIS-related events or announcements to 30,000 library and information science professionals in India in a single go by sending the content by way of email to [paid(at)lislinks.com].
d) S/he can send LIS-related messages to LIS Links’s Telegram Group / Page; state-level WhatsApp group or community; Facebook page or group through the LIS Links Social Manager to States of India; or by way of sending it as an email to [paid(at) lislinks.com].
e) After successful completion of his or her tenure, he or she will be provided a certificate from LIS Links.
