Library and Information Science Links (LIS Links) (http://www.lislinks.com) is India's social networking platform for library and information science professionals. It has brought 30727 Indian LIS professionals together, bestowed them with recent information, provided first-hand solutions to their problems on professional issues (technical and all-inclusive), and most importantly, provided them with an opportunity to voice their opinions on matters related to libraries and information science as a social networking site for a specific professional group. It is India’s first and largest social network for library and information science professionals.

The declining advertisement revenue from Google AdSense and sponsorship for the past several years was insufficient to cover the renewal cost of the LIS Links website, which hosts 30000 Indian LIS professionals. This forced us to make the decision to either thrive for what we intended to by opening a paid subscription option or perish. With our commitment to the service that we launched 16 years ago on February 26th, 2008, we have made a decision to overcome our financial problem that we are facing at LIS Links, and we seek your blessing in doing so. A very nominal subscription amount of Rs. 200 per year (1st January to 31st December) from 500 of our well-wishers will be sufficient for LIS Links to be back again. 

We hope you will be glad enough to do this part for the survival of the LIS Links website itself.

vii) An online LIS Links membership certificate for those who opt to pay Rs. 1000 (one thousand) for a five-year membership at once.
